A wood slice, a pot and rope is all you need.

Cut the wood slice from the center to fix the pot, add plants to it and fix the rope on a wall in the garden.

Trace the opening for the flower pot onto the wood slice.

Carefully cut out the circle with either a rotary tool or jigsaw.

Sand off any rough edges. Then use a 3/4″ spade drill bit to make the holes for the sisal rope. I used 1/2″ sisal rope.

If you plan to hang the planter outside, you’ll want to apply some sort of protective coat.

Then insert your flower pot. Pop in the plant of your choice.
Pull the rope through the holes, tie a big knot and hang it up!
